UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley had jokes about his wife and his lucky dragon underwear after the Huskies steamrolled San Diego State, 82-52, in their Sweet 16 matchup Thursday night.

In a postgame interview, reporter Andy Katz mentioned that Hurley was waving to his wife, Andrea, who was featured on the TBS broadcast multiple times during the game, which took place at TD Garden in Boston.

“My wife Andrea, who never gets enough TV time, by the way. It’s always others,” Hurley joked while signaling to the brunette in the crowd.

The 51-year-old, who coached the Huskies to an NCAA championship last year, went on to explain that Andrea had to wash his lucky game-day underwear — a pair of MeUndies red boxer shorts with cartoon dragons on them.

“She’s gotta get the hand washer going to get these dragon underwear clean for a quick turnaround,” Hurley, a Jersey City native, said.

He’s been wearing (and washing) the same pair since UConn’s title run last year, when the Huskies beat the Aztecs, 76-59, in the NCAA championship.

“They’re like underoos for adults,” Andrea previously told The Post of the shorts from the MeUndies brand.

Hurley is so superstitious and specific about his clothing that he travels to tournaments with a portable washing machine.

Andrea will then dry his clothing with a hair dryer while on the road.

Although Andrea plays a pivotal role in helping Hurley prepare for game days, she is not superstitious.

The reigning NCAA champion Huskies will face the No. 3 seed Illinois in Saturday’s Elite Eight at TD Garden.
