New Zealand will gradually begin to lift its hard border from the beginning of next year.

From January 17, fully vaccinated citizens and other eligible travellers can enter New Zealand from Australia without mandatory hotel quarantine.

From February 14, the international borders will open to all eligible travellers from all other countries.

All fully vaccinated people will be allowed to enter to New Zealand from April 30.

Arrivals must produce a negative pre-departure test, get a test on arrival and isolate for seven days at home, and produce a final negative test before leaving isolation.
