It was a day for the history books.

Prince William and Kate Middleton reflected on Saturday’s coronation ceremony, posting official footage from the festivities to social media.

“What. A. Day.,” they wrote on their official Twitter page, as fans praised the couple’s role in the momentous occasion. “Thank you to everyone who made it happen.”

Saturday’s video — a tribute to the opulent bonanza at Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the procession in between — follows the Prince and Princess of Wales with their three children, Prince Louis, 5, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince George, 9, throughout the joyous celebration.

Set to an inspirational track, William, 40, and Kate, 41, are captured in ornamental regalia alongside their kids as they enter a black car bound for the church.

Footage of the children seated in the royal carriages and the entire royal family perched on the balcony is also included in the minute-long video recap.

As always, the kids stole the show, mirroring the spectacle at the queen’s Platinum Jubilee last year.

While George starred as one of the pages of honor, wielding a ceremonial sword, his younger siblings caught the attention of the internet.

Louis’ “iconic” yawning gripped the masses online. The royal tyke couldn’t keep a straight face, waving and cheesing at bystanders from the carriage.

Standing on the balcony with the rest of the family, Louis couldn’t contain his excitement for the military jets overhead, pointing in awe.

Royals fans online gushed over the sibling love, as Charlotte was spotted clutching her younger brother’s hand during the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

Charlotte, dressed in an ivory Alexander McQueen frock, caught viewers’ eyes for another reason as well: She was the spitting image of her grandmother, the late Princess Diana.

The “people’s princess,” as Lady Di was lovingly called, was married to King Charles III from 1981 to 1996. She tragically died in a car crash in 1997 at the age of 36.

Middleton matched her daughter’s dazzling jewel-encrusted crown and white gown, paying homage to Princess Diana by wearing her pearl-and-diamond earrings.

The Princess of Wales’ neck was adorned with a George VI Festoon necklace made in 1950 for the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The monarch, who died in September at 96 after a monumental 70-year reign, was subtly honored in several ways during Saturday’s ceremony.

From the floral arrangements to Queen Camilla’s robes — and even the details on the invitations — Charles paid tribute to his late mother and her historic tenure on the throne.

The newly anointed king, 74, also shared a sweet moment with his eldest son, William. As the prince leaned in for the customary cheek kiss, his father whispered, “Thank you, William.”
