The Philippines is further tightening its border controls in an effort to keep out the new Omicron COVID -19 variant.
An additional seven European countries have been added to a travel ban which initially covered seven southern African nations.
Travellers from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, and Italy are banned from entering the Philippines until at least December 15.
