Tyrese Maxey was the Knicks’ kryptonite in Game 5, with 46 points, including seven 3-pointers and a crushing game-tying trey at the end of regulation.
In a bright spot for New York, they managed to hold Joel Embiid to 19 points.
Jalen Brunson shined once again with 40 points — though had some struggles in overtime — and will likely need to carry the Knicks again on Thursday.
