When she was just 14 years old Amanda Nchoma already had size 38E breasts.
She first noticed their growth in her early teens and assumed they would eventually stop.
Now 19, Amanda is a size 40GG and has been left with scars from her bra straps due to the weight of her breasts.
Amanda, who lives in Manchester, England said she was accused of having a boob job when she was just 14 and says she has to spend hundreds of dollars on underwear that actually fits her.
She said that most high street stores don’t cater for her size, and that she has had to adapt to carry the weight of her boobs.
Amanda explained: “The main problem that I have with them is my shoulders; when I wear a bra the straps dig in due to the weight of them and leave me with cuts.
“I’ve adapted to carrying that much weight but it has left me with permanent marks on my shoulders.
“I have always had bigger boobs than most and it wasn’t until mid secondary school when they started to peak.
“In secondary school, there was a rumour that I had my boobs done and I still get questioned on them all the time.”
She added that there isn’t much diversity for bigger bra sizes and that she normally has to shop in M&S or Bravissimo.
She said these bras can cost nearly $30 each.
Amanda said if her breasts continue to grow then she might have to go under the knife and have a breast reduction.
The NHS states that the availability of breast reduction surgery on the service varies and depends on the clinical commissioning group.
Generally speaking, you could be considered for breast reduction surgery if you have issues caused by your breasts including back ache, shoulder or neck pain, skin irritation, grooves on the shoulders from bra straps and skin irritation and infections under the breasts.
You might also be considered for surgery if you suffer from phycological distress such as low self-esteem or depression and if you are unable to exercise and take part in sports because of your breasts.
As well as dealing with the pain the weight of her breasts cause, Amanda claims to constantly be subjected to comments and “stares” whilst out in public.
She added: “Going into the city centre scares me because I’ve had men come up to me and try and chat me up and they can be really persistent.
“I’m just trying to go about my day.
“It draws a lot of attention to me; walking to the shops I get stares and people beep their horns as I walk down the street.
“It doesn’t bother me but when other girls give me dirty looks, it does.”
She said that it doesn’t hurt to wear a bra, but that she prefers not wearing one because of the issues with the straps digging into her shoulders.
“As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more comfortable with my boobs and if I like a piece of clothing, I’ll get it.
“I do have to size up a lot because it’s difficult to find something that fits on my top half.
“There’s a specific way I have to wash myself because it can get irritated underneath”, she added.
