Gwyneth Paltrow claimed Saturday that the emotional aftermath of her ski collision lawsuit left her feeling like she “survived” a very traumatic event.

“That whole thing was pretty weird,” Paltrow, 51, said to the New York Times. “I don’t know that I’ve even processed it.”

“It was something I felt like I survived,” continued the Oscar-winning actress. “Sometimes in my life it takes me a long time to look back and process something and understand something.”

The Post reached out to the “Seven” actress for comment.

Paltrow was sued back in 2019 by Terry Sanderson, who claimed the actress crashed into him while the pair were on a beginner-level course at a resort in Park City, Utah, in 2016.

Sanderson, 76, sued the actress for $300,000, claiming that the encounter left him with “a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries.”

According to the retired optometrist, Paltrow had been skiing “out of control” when she knocked him down.

Additionally, Sanderson alleged that Paltrow’s ski instructor at Deer Valley Resort did not see the crash, but “falsely accused Sanderson of having caused the crash. He also failed to send help, as he was obligated to do, and later filed a false report to protect his client, Ms. Paltrow.”

In the lawsuit, which was obtained by the Post, Sanderson claimed he “has suffered and will continue to suffer damages, including both economic and non-economic damages related to the ski crash in excess of $3,100,000.”

Paltrow’s reps told Page Six that the lawsuit was “completely without merit” at the time, adding: “anyone who reads the facts will realize that.”

Sanderson also alleged that Paltrow’s ski instructor at Deer Valley Resort did not see the crash, but “falsely accused Sanderson of having caused the crash. He also failed to send help, as he was obligated to do, and later filed a false report to protect his client, Ms. Paltrow.”

During the ensuing trial, the “Iron Man” actress claimed that she was the actual victim.

“I was hit by Mr. Sanderson, and he was at fault,” Paltrow said upon taking the stand.

The “Shakespeare in Love” star  — who countersued the man for one dollar plus her legal fees — also refuted Sanderson’s claims of a hit-and-run accident, saying that her instructor told her to leave her information with the man after colliding with him.

“He said, ‘You should go ski down’ because my kids were waiting for me,” she explained. “I would not have left the scene without leaving my information, and my information was left.”

After the eight-day trial, the Goop creator ultimately prevailed after the jury deliberated for a mere 2 hours and 32 minutes.

“I was skiing and two skis came between my skis, forcing my legs apart, and then there was a body pressing against me,” she explained. “And there was a very strange grunting noise. So my brain was trying to make sense of what was happening.”

“I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury,” wrote Paltrow following her legal win. “And thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case.”
